Web Version of the Earth Science Courseware Demonstration Material

The web delivery version uses material from the UKESCC server as and when required and does not save it permanently on your computer. It does, however, require the free Authorware 7 Full Web Player plug-in to be installed where it can be accessed by your browser. If you have the plug-in, the courseware demo will load after a few seconds. If not, a message will appear inviting you to get a copy.

During the first use on some machines you may get an error message saying you need to hold the Control key down when opening a particular file. This is part of a security facility provided by Authorware which can safely be avoided. Press Control-Q to go back a step, hold the Control key down and click on reload or refresh. Click on "Security Options..." in the dialogue box that appears, select "Trust All Locations" then click on "Save Settings". The settings you select should be saved on your computer and the security message not appear again on that machine.
